My Top Foundations For Fair Skin

My Top Foundations For Fair Skin

When it comes to makeup, I’d rather opt out entirely. However, here I am spending money on countless foundations trying to find that one that fits just right for my skin type. For me, it’s a great investment because (1.) I don’t wear make-up on a regular basis so it lasts me longer and (2.) when I do wear makeup I still want to look my best and have the best. So I think I’ve finally come up with 6 different versatile foundations for my flakey, porous, dehydrated skin (which I find only makeup makes me feel dry). Most of these foundations are on the lighter side, but with a few that can cover up the bad skin days. Even though you may be having a bad skin day or month, just try your hardest not to wear makeup if you really don’t have to so your skin can heal and breathe. If you’re just heading out for errands just DON’T wear makeup, or if you’re going to work and aren’t around people all day DON’T wear makeup. Girls nowadays, and especially young girls, think they need 5 pumps of foundation on their face to feel pretty. But girls trust me, a little goes a long way and it’ll really help with blemishes and clogged pores. You want to be able to see through to your skin and just embrace what you were born with. Here are my top 6 foundations for fair skin with some suitable for summer and winter.

Tarte Amazonian Clay Airbrush Foundation – This one is my favorite for a quick and easy summer look, It’s also great if you can’t go barefaced to run errands. I use the kabuki brush that goes with it, it’s very soft. Shade Color: Fair- Light- Neutral

Lancôme Photôgenic Lumessence Foundation – One of my newest foundations I’ve bought and by far my favorite year round. It smooths over my flakes and lines and hides my pores. I love the yellow tint it gives off as it hides my redness and makes me feel bright and glowy. It’s great for dryer months as it has an ultra-hydrating formula. Shade Color: Buff 6 (w)

Charlotte Tilbury Light Wonder Foundation  – This one is awesome for the summer. It’s a little darker than my skin shade but I find that it looks great when you have a little tan. It’s light weight and yes glowy and healthy looking.

Shade Color: 2 Fair

Tarte Amazonian Clay Foundation – A great foundation for covering up blemishes and redness. It’s a little thicker than the others but still feels great on my skin. It’s just smooth. This shade for me is great for winter. Shade Color: Fair Sand

NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer  – My summer favorite with an SPF of 30! It’s light and has a great moisture to it but doesn’t give me that sticky feeling. Shade Color: Finland Light 1

NARS Sheer Glow Foundation – A great foundation if you’re looking for a shade with more of a yellow tint. I love anything with yellow in it so that it cancels out any of my pinky red blotchiness. Very buildable also. Shade Color: Gobi Light 3

Top Tips:

1.) Beauty Blenders are my everything with my dry skin.

2.) One pump is all you need to cover your face, and it will help with how your face looks throughout the day (pores and flakes)
