The first hike of the new year and it couldn’t have been better! I love going to new trails and seeing the beauty in nature. This trail, in particular, reminded me of snow white. Yes, snow white. I felt like I was walking in a fairy tale hiking to her cute log cabin cottage. The trail had a lot of logwood steps and beautiful streams of water and birds. I can’t image what it will look like in the spring with all the blooming flowers. So since this is my first post of the new year (besides my candle post) I thought I’d share some of my life goals. Not “resolutions” I tend to break resolutions too easy because it’s too much pressure in the meaning I guess.
My life goals for 2017:
- Go on hikes more and breathe in the fresh air and take in the calmness
- Work out in ways that don’t feel like working out
- Use my pilates machine more
- Visit with friends and family more
- Have more meaningful conversations with people
- Find a better job that will make me happy
- Say yes to more events and plans
- Eat healthier meals
- Eat wayyy less chocolate
- Have more positive thoughts.
If you haven’t realized yet, I have social anxiety. I may not fully get through my list this year (I really love chocolate) but If I’m trying that’s good enough for me. Oh, and how cute is my boyfriend for taking some pictures for me on the trail. (I wanted to be more a part of my blog photos even tho I hate getting my picture taken) I would love for you to comment down below and start a conversation with me about some goals you’ve set for yourself this year!
